Director: Julie Bedard
Julie has been involved as a teacher and director in Christian early childhood settings for almost 20 years. She has her Master of Education degree in Early Childhood Curriculum and Instruction and loves to keep learning about how to be a better leader and teacher. She is married and has 3 grown children. She enjoys reading, memory-keeping and gardening.
FABULOUS FOUR/FIVES (VPK)
Lead Teacher: Keonna Carter
Keonna is excited to be the Lead teacher for the “Fabulous Fours” at Amazing Grace ELC. She is originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Florida with her husband and two boys 6 years ago. Keonna has been in early childhood for 12 years.
Assistant Teacher: Kathy Walker
Kathy taught at a Lutheran preschool in Breckenridge and brings twenty years of experience to Amazing Grace Early Learning Center. She received her training in early childhood education in Colorado.
Lead Teacher: Tiffany Reeves
Tiffany has her Florida CDA (Child Development Associate) certificate. She has been teaching preschool for 17 years. She loves to teach because she loves to see the curiosity in children blossom.
Lead Teacher: Brandy McDowell
Brandy has been working with children in a childcare center as a Teacher’s Assistant for almost 3 years. She is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Business and her CDA credential. Brandy has always loved working with children and started babysitting 23 years ago. She didn’t know that teaching was her calling until she started working with the babies in a center environment. She is married, has 3 children of her own, and 2 furry children. She enjoys going on adventures with her family.
Assistant Teacher: Beth Williamson
Lead Teacher: Theresa Hammer
Theresa has been working in early childcare settings for over five years. She earned a degree at the University of West Florida and then moved back home to rediscover her love for teaching. She is engaged and has four fur babies at home. She loves reading, singing, and trying new things.
Assistant Teacher: Devonya Gives
Lead Teacher: Nazreen Mohammed
Naz comes from the foster care system. She has been working with teen mothers and their babies. Naz’ training has been with Kids Central Inc. and Department of Children and Families as well as other agencies. She has been teaching these mothers how to care for their infants and become nurturing and good moms. She is married and has 3 children. She has also raised 5 foster boys and has 2 grandchildren. Naz loves reading and writing and spending time with her family.
Assistant Teacher: Susie Barber
Susie has been working in childcare for 22 years. She loves babies and all children and has experience with children of all ages. She has her CDA from NC. She is married to her wonderful husband and has 2 children and 6 Grandchildren and 2 spoiled cats at home.
